Thousands of "superheroes" have gathered for the four-day Comic-Con International being held at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con is the nation's largest celebration of comic books and pop culture. The convention, which started Thursday, attracted Storm Troopers, Flash Gordon, Batmen, Spider-Men and even characters from toy makers. One photographer was seen wearing a Wonder Woman costume.

Debbie Rowe, Ex-wife of Michael Jackson, has filed a law suit against the pop singer, claiming he has failed to pay her what he promised when the two divorced in 1999. The lawsuit which was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, Debbie seeks an immediate payment of $195,000 for attorney fees and $50,000 in living expenses so that she can continue pursuing her child-custody case against him. The next court hearing on the matter is slated for July 26.

The 2006 update of the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary adds mouse potatoes, googling and himbo, among 100 new words. The mouse potato is defined as someone who spends as much time on the computer as a coach potato does on the sofa.

Anupan Boonchuen, director of a dog grooming school, has launched "Dog Radio Thailand", a web radio station aim to entertain dogs. Anupan believed that the music puts the dogs in a good mood and they're more willing to let the groomers handle them.
