Police in Longmont, Colorado are looking for a man who claimed to be a police detective in an effort to obtain free adult videos from a novelty shop.
The store manager told police that an unidentified man came into the shop at least three times to demand free copies of X-rated videos. He said he wanted the videos to determine if performers were not underage and not violating any laws.
Ironically, the man visited the shop three times in nine days, despite being turned down by the manager each time.
The man even left a calling card saying he was from Longmont police's "age verification unit." He also had a badge, the manager said.
On his third attempt to obtain free videos, the manager called the police, and they confirmed there was no such unit in Longmont.
