An early morning trip to the post office turned into a frightening experience for one woman when she found a live corn snake hiding under the mail. The non-poisonous snake, measuring between two and three feet long, slithered into the business post office box that Jean White regularly checks, sending her screaming hysterically for help.

A man sentenced to over 1,300 years in prison after having confessed to a series of rapes, expressed regret to The Denver PostOn Wednesday, Brent J. Brents, 36, admitted to raping or beating 10 people in the Denver area, including two 11-year-old girls and their grandmother. The attacks, which include sexual assaults of seven women and two girls, occured between October 2004 through February of this year.

A father and son of Fort Myers, FL are accused of loading envelopes with stolen stamps worth more than $200,000. Charges have been leveled against 51-year-old Joseph Robert Baker and his son 21-year-old Matthew Robert Baker for allegedly siphoning off stamps from June to November 2004.
