Police found more than 200 marijuana plants growing in a south Florida mall. Investigators are still looking for the growers of the plants at the Mall of the Americas in West Miami-Dade County, who they say had a sophisticated operation.

Police authorities guised as FedEx delivery staff seized 400 pounds of marijuana in Baltimore, Maryland. Police learned of the illegal shipment when FedEx mistakenly delivered 200 pounds of pot to the wrong recipient in Baltimore last week. This led police to conduct a drug bust operations. Reports said that the marijuana was from Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Thousands of marijuana activists from key Canadian cities puffed joints in public on Saturday as part of the Global Marijuana March - a worldwide protest on cannabis prohibition. Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg held similar protests which took place simultaneously in 239 major cities across the globe, according to a Cannabis News' website.

Police authorities arrested a local flower shop owner who was found to have been growing the illegal kind of greenery. Jeffrey Izard, 52, was discovered to have been cultivating marijuana in an apartment located right above the Kinzel Flower Shop. Officials said that the apartment, which was Izard's residence, contained grown plants, as well as equipment used to cultivate it.
