Britain's Prince Charles has had to halt the renovation work on his recently purchased Welsh farmhouse after bats were found roosting in an outbuilding. The prince is converting his remote $2. 4 million Llwynynwormwood estate in Myddfai, Carmarthenshire, into a holiday complex and an initially report into bat and owl activity concluded building work would have minimal impact on the wildlife. But common pipistrelle and brown long-eared bats have now been found roosting in a building on the estate which Charles has applied to transform into nearly $4 million luxury 11-bed resort.

Following his performance on London's 104. 4 Resonance FM, McGowan said: "It's really, really disgusting. It's stinky, it's not like any meat I've seen.

Britain's Prince Richard, who was believed to have been murdered in the 15th century, may have lived to become a bricklayer, a university lecturer claims. When Edward IV died in 1483 his two sons Edward V and Richard were locked in the Tower of London and never seen again, amid reports that their uncle Richard III wanted them removed so he could claim the throne. Two skeletons were discovered hidden in the tower almost 200 years later, but tests have never been able to ascertain whether they are the remains of the lost princes.

A British soldier serving in Iraq is the doppelganger of Britain's Prince Harry. Serviceman Wayne Ayers not only looks just like the prince, but at 22 he is the same age and drives the same Scimitar tank in his regiment. The similarity is so great his comrades have nicknamed him Prince Harry, but there is a fear that Wayne may be targeted by terrorists who believe he is the prince.

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla paid a surprise visit to a sweetshop to stock up on jelly babies during their tour of Northern Ireland on Wednesday. The prince and the Duchess of Cornwall - who are enjoying a two-day tour of the region - picked up a bag of the sugary delights and a packet of throat lozenges, much to the surprise of Ulster shopkeeper Gerald Monaghan. Gerald told the Belfast Telegraph: "I asked which sweet was his favorite and he picked 'Throat and Chest' because he said he had a sore throat.
