Chart-topping group The Pussycat Dolls, whose hit 'Don't Cha' got everyone to wish their girlfriends were as hot as them, have seen their plans to launch a line of dolls scrapped.

According to Billboard, toy maker Hasbro decided the dolls were "inappropriate" and that Pussycat Dolls and their record label Interscope were aiming for a more mature audience.

In a statement, Hasbro says: "Interscope's current creative direction and images for the recording group are focused on a much older target than we had anticipated at the time of our original discussions, thereby making a doll line inappropriate for Hasbro."
