Australian Priest Says Sorry For Angry Abuse As Profanity-Filled Video Shown On YouTube

A senior Roman Catholic clergyman apologized on Monday for a profanity-filled argument he had with a group of taunting teenagers who secretly videoed him and posted the obscene verbal clash on YouTube. Reverend Monsignor Geoff Baron, the Dean of Melbourne's St Patrick's Cathedral, said he was ashamed of his "outrageous actions", which also included screaming racist slurs at the boys who had been riding skateboards on the church's steps.

Rusty The Dog Found Over Two Thousand Miles From Home

Rusty, an eight year old poodle cross Maltese was stolen from his home in Woy Woy in New South Wales nearly three months ago. Against the odds, he was recovered this week from Australia's north, about 4000km (2485 miles) away from home. The dog's owner, who had lost all hope of retrieving Rusty, is delighted. Owner, Shirley Lowry, had lost all hope of ever finding him again after placing newspaper and radio advertisements following his disappearance. All seemed to be a useless effort. But Darwin City Council animal management officer Colin Roe this week found Rusty roaming the streets in Winnellie, Darwin, in the Northern Territory.

The abs-cbnnews. com reported that the zombie dance performed by more than 1,000 inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center to the tune of Michael Jackson's pop hit 'Thriller' has given the criminals instant celebrity.

Patrons At West Virginia Diner Sing National Anthem Everyday

As the clock ticks towards noon waitress Judy Hawkins is joined by several customers for a sing-along with a local radio station's broadcast of "The Star-Spangled Banner. ""We just think it's good to honor ("The Star-Spangled Banner"). The public enjoys it. They stop eating and join in," Hawkins, who said she started singing the national anthem several months ago, told the Associated Press.

Court Acquits Park Singer From Loud Singing Charges

A Philadelphia Court Judge on Tuesday acquitted a 20-year-old Rittenhouse Square singer from all charges after a police officer arrested him for singing too loudly in the park. "A Change Is Gonna Come" singer Anthony Riley was jailed for refusing to succumb to a police officer's demand that he stop singing too loudly and faced a three-month sentence for the March 27 incident.
