Pranksters release two live snakes during a showing of "Snakes on a Plane" in a Phoenix, Arizona theater.
AMC Entertainment Inc. spokeswoman Melanie Bell says two diamondback rattlesnakes were set loose during the movie, which is about deadly snakes terrorizing passengers on a plane.
She tells Reuters, "One was found in the parking lot during the show, and the other in the movie theater. They were both removed, and no one was harmed."
The snakes were later brought to the desert and freed.
President of the Phoenix Herpetological Society tells Reuters, "There were kids at the show, and it was actually very reckless."
He adds, "The snakes' bite carries a powerful venom that could have seriously injured someone."
