Shmaltz Brewing Co,. the California beer makers responsible for He'brew, Miraculous Jubilation and Genesis Ale, have honored the controversial comedian Lenny Bruce by releasing a beer on the 40th anniversary of his death. Bittersweet Lenny's RIPA is now available in more than 1,000 stores in 25 states. Bruce died at the age of 40 on August 3, 1966.

A farmer in a Kazakhstan village claims his chicken laid an egg with the word "Allah" written on its shell. Bites Amantayeva, from the village of Stepnoi in eastern Kazakhstan, tells state news agency Kazinform, "Our mosque confirmed that it says 'Allah' in Arabic. "

The one-eyed, noseless kitten that inspired an international debate last year over whether it was a hoax is coming to a new museum of oddities in central New York. The museum founder, who believes in creationism, said the kitten is meant to launch another debate about how science and religion intersect. The Oregon woman who owned the kitten said she turned down Ripley's Believe it or Not! and sold the remains to John Adolfi of Granby because she liked his religious reasons for wanting them.
