Three passengers have won a lawsuit against Italy's Alitalia after being stranded in Chicago for 36 hours when their flight was canceled. The three Italian doctors said they suffered "distress" and "physical and psychological pain" from the experience. They sued the airline for canceling their flight and taking 36 hours to place them on another plane.

On Thursday, the researchers at King's College London said that the length of a girl's ring finger could determine her future sporting potential. The findings, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, show that women with ring fingers longer than their index fingers are good at running and associated sports such as soccer and tennis which involves running.

All the street lights were turned off in the capital of Iceland and other towns so residents could go star gazing. The writer who came up with the idea was pleased with the outcome, even though rain and clouds obscured the view. Andri Snaer Magnason told Reuters, "All the streets lights are off, we can see a few stars. . . I would have liked to have a completely clear sky, but you can't have everything. But it was nice. "

A woman with fingernails that are 24 feet 7 inches long has won a spot in the latest edition of Guinness World Records. Lee Redmond, 65, said she soaks her nails in olive oil to take care of them. She told Reuters the effort is worth it. The Utah native will share a center spread with the people who have the world's stretchiest skin, narrowest waist and longest ear hair. Also featured is a woman who can pop her eyeballs 0. 43 inches out of their sockets.

A 20-year-old Dutch burglar was arrested on Wednesday night as he could not resist the urge to play piano in the house he burgled. The thief successfully broke into the house and after conducting a thorough search for valuables he was attracted to a piano he found. His urge to play the piano got the better of him as he stayed, when he should have been making his exit.
