A California amusement park banned its riders from screaming on a ride known as The Screamer following complaints from neighbors that they were disturbed by the noises.
The people living next door to Family Fun Center in Sacramento also complained that when the riders lifted their arms high into the air on the ride it could be viewed from their backyards, interfering with their privacy.
However, the new ban on screaming seems to work fine, as park managers immediately stop the ride and ask the screamer to get down. And anyone who still wishes to try again will have to wait in line.
Riders are also cautioned to cover their mouths or they will not be allowed to ride and will be forced to get back in line.
