Police in Altamonte Springs, Florida are investigation an unusual robbery where the suspect allowed the clerk to call 911 and apologized after the woman said she might be having a heart attack.

However, the robber, who also carried a handgun while looting the Kangaroo Express store on State Road 436, also took $30 and a few cigarettes.

According to surveillance audio/video released Thursday, the masked robber pointed a semiautomatic handgun at 60-year-old clerk Mary Parker and asked her for locker keys. However when the woman said she did not have any keys, he asked her to empty the cash register.

AP reports that as Parker gave him some cash, she also told him she was having chest pains. The suspect then reportedly tried to comfort her, and asked her to call 911 to get medical help.

Park also added that the suspect also apologized to her and told her that he is doing this to pay some bills as no one is hiring him.

"You have a good day. I'm sorry this had to happen. I'm sorry. God!" the suspect said as he left the store. The man is described as a dark skinned man in his 30s. He's about 5-feet-7 with brown hair and eyes. Police says Parker is fine and didn't suffer any permanent injuries.
