Detectives had an easy time tracking down a robbery suspected after he allegedly left his credit card on the scene and fled. Irving Batiz, of 128 Elm St., Valley Stream first agreed to purchase an electronic drum music machine from a music store but then changed his mind.

Batiz reportedly stole the equipment at gunpoint but left his credit card at the store. Police traced him back to his home and on Monday he was ordered to be held in the Nassau County jail on a $200,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail.

The 24-year-old robber had his bail set after pleading not guilty to a charge of first-degree robbery in First District Court in Hempstead. The drum machine was later found in his car. Batiz next appears in Nassau County Court on Wednesday.
