Jason Wood overcame a field of 29 competitors to win the southwest Florida regional finals of a "Rock, Paper, Scissors" tournament. He threw a "rock," beating Erin Smith's "scissors" and winning a trip to Vegas.

In what took locals by surprise, the national symbol of Denmark, the Little Mermaid sculpture perched on a rock overlooking the Copenhagen port, was splattered with green paint by vandals and adorned with a dildo, according to local police. "We are taking this very seriously because one cannot accept vandalism, not on the Little Mermaid or any other public statue," deputy police commissioner Peter Steffensen tells the Associated Foreign Press.

A piece of sheet-metal with the supposed image of Jesus Christ is now up for auction. Thomas Haley, of Hardy's Hardware, says "I mean, it hasn't done anything miraculous as of yet, but seeing it is kind of groovy. . . Just seeing it brightens people's day. "

A Connecticut hardware store employee claims to have seen the face of Jesus Christ on a piece of sheet metal. Now, he and his co-workers are auctioning it on eBay. In the past two weeks, Thomas Haley and co-worker Jonathan Jackson have shown the piece to a few other workers and customers. They say several people agreed with their assessment, although a few suggested the image looks more like legendary rock singer Jim Morrison of The Doors.

A Singapore teen's enthusiastic guitar playing ended tragically when it caused him to fall to his death. Li Xiao Meng, 16, was mimicking a rock star while bouncing on his bed. He jumped so hard that he flew out of a third floor window, reports Reuters citing The Straits Times.
