Bryan Harvey And Family Found Dead

Bryan Harvey, singer-guitarist for the two-man '80's rock band House of Freaks, was found dead with his wife and two children Sunday in the family's Richmond, VA home. Harvey, 49, his wife Kathryn, 39, and their daughters, Stella, 9, and Ruby, 4, were found in the basement of their burning home. A Richmond Police Department spokeswoman said the bodies were bound but added that no cause of death was being released. Local news reports said the victims' throats were cut.

Richard Pryor Dies From Heart Attack

Groundbreaking comedian Richard Pryor, whose stand-up routines about race, sex and life made him a modern day icon, is dead. He was 65. Pryor died after being rushed to a hospital from his home shortly after 8 a. m. Pryor had suffered from multiple sclerosis, a disease of the nervous system.

Norway Restaurant Allows Eaters to Eat Crow

A small island restaurant has added new items to its menu: crow and seagull dishes. Its hope is to lure those with an adventurous palate. Manager Rolf Sund told the Tonsberg Blad newspaper he's not sure how well the venture will do, but said tourism numbers are down in Ostre Bolaerne, an archipelago on the outer fringe of the Oslo Fjord. According to United Press International, Sund began advertising his "Christmas buffet with a difference" after learning that hunting and eating the plentiful birds was legal. The chef has prepared both crow and seagull in a variety of sauces. Sund said he hopes to dispel the notion that crows are "not clean," and made the inevitable taste comparison. "It tastes like chicken with a hint of game. And it is safe to eat," Sund said.

The Moon Becomes Hot Property In China

A Chinese company has had its license suspended after it tried to make money by selling property on the moon. The Beijing Lunar Village Aeronautics Science and Technology Company managed to swindle unsuspecting customers by selling large swathes of pristine lunar property before being shut down, according to Chinese media reports on Monday.
