A Romanian immigrant in Abbotsford, British Columbia is the center of media attention after she gave birth to her 18th children in 23 years - a feat being tagged as the province's most productive mother in 20 years.
Canadian Press reported that 44-year-old Livia Ionce and her husband Alexandru, 51, welcomed their 18th children, Abigail, last Tuesday.
The couple's 17 other children range in age from 20 months to 23 years old with ten boys and eight girls in the brood.
Abigail weighed in at seven pounds, 12 ounces and Livia hinted in previous reports that she may not be their last offspring.
The family emigrated from Romania to Canada in 1990. Their family home reportedly has seven bedrooms although there are only two bathrooms for the 18 kids.
