Parents watching a schoolboy rugby match Sunday were angry and appalled after hardcore pornography interrupted the scheduled programming. The Prime Channel, a free broadcast station, was showing a Grass Roots Rugby show when they claim a distribution fault caused the "inappropriate material," from a pay-per-view channel to be aired on the wrong station.

Just days before their match against Romania, the Russian national rugby team are scrambling to for spare shoes after thieves reportedly stole have stolen several of their players' boots and other sporting gears. According to the payers of the Russian team, nine pairs of boots and other gear disappeared from the team's hotel in Bucharest during a power cut.

According to his owners Taffy Howell, 59, and wife Jean, 50, both rugby fans, Seve chants ''Gloucester, Gloucester'' in a West Country drawl whenever he sees his team play on TV.

An Australian rugby league player has finally found the cause of his persistent headaches. Ben Czislowski had suffered shooting pains in his head since April when he got engaged in a head clash with the player of opposite team, but it was only last week that doctors discovered a tooth buried in his head just above the eye. After the incident, Czislowski had his head wound stitched up without doctors noticing the tooth.
