A runaway poodle spent 17 hours over the weekend delaying flights at Boston's Logan International Airport after escaping from her kennel as it was being unloaded from the plane the dog flew in on from Detroit.
Choochy the poodle was pursued by a dozen airport employees and state troopers across the tarmac for 17 hours after breaking free Saturday night.
The pooch managed to cause delays of up to 20 minutes each for at least eight flights. Personnel had a hard time seeing her in the dark on Saturday night.
Security personnel reportedly finally succeeded in herding the frightened white poodle off the tarmac and onto some grass on Sunday. There they finally lured her into capture with food, then reunited Choochy with her family.
