A 33-years-old mayor of a Siberian oil town in Russia has ordered his officials to refrain from uttering expressions such as "I don't know," "I can't," and "Look for another job. " Oksana Shestakova spokeswoman for Megion Mayor Alexander Kuzmin said the local chief executive banned these negative phrases and 25 others, to make his administration serve people with more integrity and efficiency.

Britain's Prince William is to be guest of honor at an alien concert. Michael C. Luckman, author of 'Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection', says the 24-year-old prince has a strong interest in alien activity and is "infatuated" with his book. William is such a follower that Luckman plans on inviting him to his 'Signal to Space Concerts', aimed at establishing peaceful contact with UFOs through music.

Eighties pop star and former topless model Samantha Fox won't be getting the royal treatment in Serbia. The former pin-up blonde was to have a statue put in place in the city of Cacak in Russia in her honor, but the plans have been scrapped after she failed to sell-out a concert in the city, prompting her backers to pull out. Apparently, the half-full crowd was more eager in Fox exposing her breasts than actually hearing her sing. What's more, the British singer snubbed fans and then failed to turn up for a ministerial dinner staged in her honor after a concert.

Canada is the most popular country in the world, according to a BBC World service poll of 12 heavy-hitting nations. Britain, China, France, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, North Korea, Russia, Venezuela and the U. S. were also contenders for the "best" nation poll, but Canada roped the majority of the 28,000 respondents from 27 countries into saying something nice about it.
