The Japan Sumo Association on Sunday imposed a three-day ban on a Russian wrestler for assaulting two photographers. The wrestler hit the photographers in a fit of anger after losing a fractious bout the day before. The JSA spokesman Muragoro Takasago said, Roho, an upper division wrestler ranked three slots below the ancient sport's topmost tiers, was ordered to sit out three bouts starting Sunday for his actions.

Apparently, a wife isn't exactly what one Russian man is looking for; farmer Boris Gabov is seeking permission from the President to marry his beloved cow. Russian reports indicate that Gabov had asked Russian President Vladimir Putin for permission to marry his cow during a recent webcast in which Russians were able to e-mail the president and ask him anything.

Even though Russian President Vladimir Putin's memory for the first time he had sex is a bit hazy, he does remembers very clearly his latest time. On Thursday, Putin fielded a wide range of questions from web surfers around the world during a live two hour webcast.

A Japanese man who was left behind in land that was given to the Soviet Union following World War II, has returned to his homeland. Yoshiteru Nakagawa, now 79 years old, was returned to Japan for the first time in 67 years.

Russian President Vladimir Putin astonished a young boy when he stopped by during a walk through the Kremlin. Despite the current political pressures about Iran and the G8 summit scheduled to hold in Russia in two weeks, Putin still found it necessary exchange a word with the little boy before lifting his shirt to kiss him on the stomach. Before walking to the youth, the Russian leader had been on national TV while addressing graduates from military academies at the Kremlin. He was walking through one of the courtyards before meeting the boy.
