A Georgia McDonald's service crew could not believe her fate when she spent a night in jail and faces criminal charges because he made his customer's burger too salty, so salty it made the customer sick.
Kendra Bull, 20-years-old and a McDonald's employee was arrested Friday, when a police officer complained about his burger being too salty. Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.
Bull said she had accidentally spilled too much salt on the burger. But when she told her supervisor and co-worker of the incident, the two tried to get the salt off the hamburger.
She added that during her break, she ate the salty meat but she did not become sick.
Police Officer Wendell Adams said he ate the salty burger and he returned and complained to the manager that the burger he ordered made him sick.
"If it was too salty, why did (Adams) not take one bite and throw it away?" said Bull. She has worked at McDonald's for over five months.
According to Adams, samples of burger were already sent to a crime lab for tests.
George Louth, city public information officer said Bull was charged because she served the hamburger "without regards to the well-being of anyone who might consume it."
