In a bid to get rid of the sleazy side of Sao Paulo, Mayor Jose Serra decides to shut down two high-class brothels after they put up sexually explicit advertisements on 30 billboards across South America's largest city.
Both brothels posted ads to attract racers and pit crews in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix. Serra wants the billboards to be covered with blank white sheets.
His code enforcement officers have sealed the doorways to the brothels, Romanza and Cafe Millenium, with concrete blocks.

Captions say in both Portuguese and English: "Do you know what happens after the (winners') podium?"
Another advertisement in Sao Paulo that targets racecar drivers says "emotion in every curve" alongside a semi-nude woman, reports newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo.
