Toronto Night Spot Imposes Dress Code, Bans Hip-Hop, Urban Fashion

A dress code banning urban wear at the Brunswick House, a popular nightspot for University of Toronto students, is generating controversy. The decades-old establishment has signs which explicitly prohibit baggy pants, do-rags, bandanas, track-suits, jerseys, tank tops and reverse baseball caps. Most of these items are apparel associated with the black community, raising the specter that the ban may spark controversy.

Crocodile Gets Invite In A Bar

A two-foot saltwater crocodile wandered in the front door of an Outback watering hole and got an invite from drinkers at the pub. The young croc seemed harmless to the drinkers, so they invited the animal inside at the Noonamah Tavern on Sunday where they taped its mouth and took pictures of them holding it, before placing it a box.

Street Artist Called "Decapitator" Terrorizes London Advertisements

A mysterious street artist, known only as "The Decapitator," has struck again. This time, he or she has removed the head of "Sex In The City" star Sarah Jessica Parker. That is, on a billboard. For several months advertisements have been popping up around London in which the heads of models and actors have been removed and replaced with images of bloody stumps. Essentially, he or she covers the part of a photo of a person's head with a photo-shopped gory, headless image.

Woman Uses Antifreeze On Attempted Murder Of Husband

A housewife was convicted of attempted murder after she tried to kill her husband by mixing antifreeze into their wedding anniversary dinner. The court of Stafford Crown found Kate Knight, 28, guilty of attempted murder after she laced her husband's curry and red wine with antifreeze back in 2005. Lee's ingestion of the tainted food and drink caused him to suffer from brain damage, and irreversible kidney failure.
