A Florida state child abuse investigator was notified Monday that she will be fired for taking her clothes off on Howard Stern's radio show. The British Royal Air Force says a bad digital television receiver set off a helicopter rescue mission after sending out a rogue distress signal. The "freeview" box, which normally gives viewers access to dozens of digital TV and radio channels through a standard, rooftop signal, sent out signal identical to that of an emergency beacon out at sea.

Clark, Texas is renaming itself in a campaign that provides its residents with free TV. In exchange for renaming itself DISH, Texas, 55 homes will receive free Dish satellite equipment and basic service for the next decade.
