Don't like clowns? You're not alone. A new study finds clowns are hated and feared by all kinds of people.

According to Philadelphia television station WCAU, the main reason behind recent fear is 1990's movie, "It."

According to Dr. Linda Welsh, a psychologist, "You can't tell what's going on behind the clown face."

"So you often get uncomfortable and don't know how to act - even anxious and frightened."

However, according to one clown, Rudy Tudy, "We, as clowns, have conventions all over the United States and we are working very, very hard at making the clown population better all the time. We have a clown code of ethics. We have certain ways we're supposed to dress. Not smoke tobacco."
