A public school is bringing back lessons on the long lost value of etiquettes and good manners.
Brighton College said beginning next school year, the institution will start educating its pupils on how to waltz at weddings, use cutlery and glasses and tie a bow tie.
Pupils will also learn to help the elderly and the etiquette of giving up seats on buses and trains.
Aside from those, they will also be taught practical lesson including ironing a shirt, sewing on a button, boiling an egg and writing formal letters,
Brighton said the year-long compulsory course, which take one 45-minute class each week, will also include erecting a tent, monitoring heart rates, making a pizza, using a cash machine and taking digital photographs.
According the headmaster, Richard Cairns, the additional lessons will give their students more competitive by the time they apply for work.
