The Netherlands's Maastricht University has awarded a British scientist his doctorate for a paper predicting that humans will someday marry robots. In his thesis entitled Intimate Relationships with Artificial Partners which earned him his PhD. David Levy wrote stated that the "trends in robotics and shifting attitudes on marriage are likely to result in sophisticated robots that will eventually be seen as suitable marriage partners. "

A 38-year old woman arrested for petty theft almost got additional jail sentence over a vial of cat urine. According to a local paper, Cynthia Hunter was arrested Aug. 15 on a charge of petty theft after she was accused of stealing from a Wal-Mart store.

A Portland man almost died when he tested fate and put his pet rattlesnake in his mouth. Of course, the risky behavior came after a few beers with his friends, but nonetheless it nearly got him killed.

Dutch researchers claim that human teeth, daisy petals, eggshells and white paint can be turned into cheap lenses, China's People's Daily Online reported on Wednesday. The Chinese news Web site said the science news agency New Scientist reported that researchers at the Twente University in the Netherlands made the discovery.

When it comes to having sex, dinosaurs didn't have to wait until they were fully grown to start mating. Rather, they preferred to mate quite early in their teenage. A latest research by American palaeontologists has found that bird-like dinosaurs reached sexual maturity earlier than their physical features were developed and until engaged in the sexual activity early in their youths.
