A 41-year-old man from Inverness, Scotland may be forced to destroy his 100ft replica of the Titanic which took him six years to build after the Highland Council said he needs to secure a retrospective planning permission to keep the model. Maritime enthusiast Stan Fraser said he spent six years building the replica of the famous vessel in his back garden. But all his efforts would go in vain if he is ordered to destroy it.

An expecting mother who was told her unborn baby was dead, finds she is still pregnant three weeks later. Julie Brown, says doctors at the St. John's Hospital in Livingston, Scotland, told her that her five and a half week old baby had perished in her womb.

An actor portraying Winston Churchill in a new play puts out the great Brit's famous cigar in order to comply with Scotland's new anti-smoking laws. Officials threatened to shut down the production if Mel Smith lit up the cigar during the play, called "Allegiance. " Scotland passed tough anti-smoking laws in March, in an effort to reduce heavy drinking and smoking.

In a game where contestants travel all over London armed with water pistols looking to assassinate other players, police have condemned the game saying that it could spark terrorism alerts. On its website, "StreetWars" is described as a three week long, 24/7, watergun assassination tournament and it begins on Tuesday in the capital.
