A 10-year-old boy is found dead, hanging from a tree after authorities believe he choked himself trying to get high while playing a bizarre "pass out" game. Dalton Eby is the second Idaho child killed in recent months as part of a game where an attempt is made to cut off the oxygen supply to the brain in order to achieve a high.

An after-hours ATM user alerted police after finding the doors to the 'Banco Nacion' Catriel bank branch were left "wide open. " Police responded by surrounding the bank, suspecting a robbery was in progress.

Alarmed residents called the Elk Grove police department after spotting a man walking around the city streets with an orange, prison-issued jumpsuit. After a two-hour search, police caught up with Peter Meeter (real name), 21, who told police he liked the clothes issued him during a recent stint in county jail. So much, in fact, he smuggled them out under his street clothes.

The Associated Press reports the return of a monkey, on its own accord, after its escape from the San Diego Zoo Friday. Takala, a golden-bellied mangabey, got out of the new monkey exhibit but he was found less than an hour later, waiting to get back inside.

A search of Carl Franklin King's car turns up quite a surprise for Florida deputies: six live gopher tortoises in the trunk. As if the discovery were not unorthodox enough, King's reason for possessing the amphibians sure raise quite a skeptical eyebrow -- as the main ingredient in soup.
