Every time we go to swanky restaurants and pay hefty prices for the food we order, we often think how good it would be if we were to choose the prices ourselves. Now a unique coffee shop in Kirkland offers you this opportunity as it doesn't have any price listed on the menu. Yes you heard it right - no prices on the menu, as customers at Terra Bite Lounge pay whatever they like, or not at all. The employees at the coffee shop are also instructed not to be biased to anyone or show any difference in their service towards those who don't pay or pay very less in the unique metal box that is placed there.

A 60-year-old man visiting his elderly mother was jailed for 17 hours for an arrest warrant for a 1984 ticket. His offense was uncovered during a background check at a routine traffic stop. Michael L. Saxton said he did not know he incurred a citation for failure to show boat registration numbers in June 1984.

A cruise ship captain pleaded guilty Monday to operating a Celebrity Cruise Line vessel while under the influence of alcohol. The ship was carrying 1,884 passengers. Periklis Petridis, a Greek citizen in command of the Mercury cruise liner was arrested by the U. S. Coast Guard on May 19, before the ship was scheduled to depart from a Seattle pier for Alaska.

A school board in the suburb between Seattle and Tacoma has apparently flip-flopped on the proposed ban on flip-flops. According to reports, the school board voted on Tuesday to drop the proposed ban on the grounds that it would be impossible to enforce.

In a survey by AutoVantage released this week, Seattle drivers were rated as among the most courteous -- less likely to change lanes without signaling or swear at fellow motorists. But many in this region say it's a reputation not always welcomed.
