Egypt's chief archaeologist Zahi Hawass has asked state attorneys on Tuesday to sue U. S. Saint Louis Art Museum to regain possession of a 3,200-year-old mask from the Pharaonic era that was allegedly stolen. According to reports by the Associated Press, Hawass, the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said he would also be writing to Interpol and the U. S. State Department "to ask them to intercede to bring back the mask. "

Britain's Home Office refused Wednesday to release the names of more than 1,000 foreign criminals it accidentally released from prison. British media reported how killers, rapists and pedophiles were among 1,023 inmates released in England and Wales since 1999 instead of being sent through immigration or deportation channels.

New York, NY (AHN)-In an upcoming interview in the New York Times Magazine, 69-year-old former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright reveals that she works out three times a week "and can leg-press up to 400 pounds. " When asked if she expects to remarry, Albright did not seem to optimistic, quipping, "I'm intimidating, don't you think?"

Japan's foreign ministry is reportedly going to ban cell phones inside the foreign minister's office and his guest room, in an attempt to avoid secret recording of his conversation. A Japanese newspaper reports that not only visitors, but also ministry employees, will be requested to leave their cell phones before entering. The foreign minister's secretary will reportedly keep the cell phones while the visitors meet with him.

British high school students will be able to get class credit for puppet shows in a government plan being considered for 2008. High school students will be able to get credit for a project that is "a single piece of work requiring detailed planning, preparation and independent study" and education officials said that included works of art, plays and puppetry, according to published reports.
