James Matteson's wife told him he was too old to foil burglary plans and beat up bad guys. But being called old was what sparked Matteson's attack.

Matteson went to his Cleveland bank only to be caught in a bank robbery situation. The robber took $5,000 from a teller and then called Matteson an old man and to get out his way.

The 70-year-old did not take this lightly. He grabbed the robber, slammed him against a wall and then onto the floor. Then a security guard and an off-duty police officer helped Matteson subdue the man.

Matteson suffered a cut from a utility knife the robber was carrying but other than that was fine. Matteson is Navy Veteran and bar owner.
