Hundreds of thousands of devotees flocked to temples in Northern India to see the Hindu deities drinking milk. The drinking god craze comes just two days after thousands of Muslims piled up at a bay in Bombay to drink the sea water that had turned sweet. "It is a miracle," Sudhir Mishra, a priest at a Shiva temple in Lucknow told the AP. He said that at least 10 liters of milk had been offered at his temple on Monday.

The US Army has denied a proposal to develop a military theme park on a Virginia Army base - a few miles from the nation's capital. The AP reports that a Florida developer wanted to establish a park at Fort Belvoir in addition to plans for a new National Museum of the United States Army scheduled to be built at the base by 2011.

A boy napping in his mother's car was awakened when a carjacker took off with the vehicle Thursday. The boy said the carjacker's high speed and sharp movements shook him from sleep. Mike Roberts, 7, asked the carjacker to slow down and soon the man stopped the car and took off leaving Roberts alone in the car.

For many people who do not know, athletic skills could become vital in our daily defense efforts. Residents of Dalian, a city in China, recently found that out for themselves after running a mini-marathon with a bull that escaped from the slaughterhouse last weekend. The animal successfully escaped from the slaughterhouse before appearing on the streets. Seemingly confused by the traffic, it stood in the middle of the road, stopping traffic and examining the cars that lined up behind it.

According to the last report of the Washington based, nonprofit organization, TRIP, Michigan's roads and bridges each were poorly graded with a "D. "Although the percentages of Michigan's road conditions that are in need of repair are only slightly higher than those averages across the nation, improvements are badly needed.
