Shots were fired after an argument heated up during a flag football game in Anchorage, Alaska.

As the shots were being fired, other players and spectators began scrambling for the exits, even climbing a chain link fence to get out of the open-air Anchorage Football Stadium.

According to officials, a pickup game of flag football became very tense late in the game.

An argument began after one of the plays and that turned into a disturbance. After a while, somebody pulled out a gun and started firing bullets into the crowd.

Witnesses stated to police that they believed that about 50 shots were fired during the Sunday night game.

Police stated that 21 year old Daniel Leituala was seriously wounded after being shot in his shoulder and below his left eye.

The police also stated that he had played in the game, but was not a participant in the scuffle.

No arrests have been made by the police and the police are seeking witnesses for help in the case.
