The Britons have a request when they die: they want to buried alongside their pet's ashes, a study said. According to the survey conducted by British Charity Age Concern to more than 100,000 respondents, that being buried with their pet's ashes is the most regular memorial service demand.

An elderly couple got back their kidnapped German Shepherd, Aldo, Friday after Columbian police thwarted $350,000 ransom payment in a sting operation. The four-year-old pure bred, owned by a wealthy retired couple, was kidnapped on September 18 after their house was broken into. Aldo was tranquilized before being taken away in a bag.

An Italian football team is now the subject of criticism from local official after it had signed a sponsorship deal with an escort agency. Under the terms of the deal, Trentino 1921 is to receive USD $14,200 which provides that the name of escort agency Casa Bianca be posted on the club website.

A dead man tells no tales, so a lady lawmaker from the southern Philippines is promoting mandatory autopsies for those who died from violent, peculiar and doubtful causes of death. Congresswoman Darlene Antonino-Custodio filed House Bill No. 265 which states that victims who died under suspicious circumstances are deprived of justice since they are no longer around to recount the manner of their death.

Men in Riccione, Italy are strongly protesting over the opening of a women-only beach on the Adriatic coast of Italy but the women are simply loving the new concept. Beach 134 at the Riccione resort features "No Men" signs and also no children are allowed to enter. This way the women are encouraged to keep their children at home or leave them with their father to devote some time to them.
