Inspired by those sporting signs on roadsides such as, "Will work for food," a Nebraska man is seeking the one thing he's willing to work for - a wife. And he's apparently willing to do whatever it take to find one. Harold is 45, single, and in the market for a spouse. His efforts include the purchasing of a billboard with the message "Wife Wanted: willworkforawife. org, 'Walk by Faith, Not by Sight. '"

The protective housing unit in Corcoran State Prison, about 50 miles south of Fresno, is considered the safest place for an inmate to reside within the California prison system. Designed to protect famous convicts from possible attacks, it houses mass murderers like Charles Manson, and high-profile criminals like Sirhan Sirhan, one of the first inmates placed in the unit, where he passed the time playing chess and working for 13 cents an hour as an administrative clerk.

According to a Reuters report, people who solicit prostitutes in Oakland, California, could find their faces plastered on billboards under a new shaming program - civil rights groups call the program bad public policy. The city started putting up billboards on Wednesday showing men arrested for soliciting sex. Other signs invite prostitutes to quit by calling a help line.

A high school senior is regreting his decision to wear a prom dress to his prom after being cited $249 for disorderly conduct, suspended for three days, and benched for his last track meet. According to a police report is was more then the dress that landed the 18-year-old into trouble. School district administrator Jim Gottinger claims senior Kerry Lofy was dancing provocatively in a sexual manner while donning the dress.
