A Modesto California Police Animal Control Officer has arrested a couple for keeping a horse and seven dogs inside their home. Joe Silva and Nichole Surkala were also accused of endangering a 12-year-old child after officers found the floor covered in animal feces and rotting produce.

Every criminal file in the New South Wales Supreme Court is being reviewed after an administrative blunder has resulted in a fresh appeal for murderers. Two of the murderers of Sydney woman, Ms Janine Balding have been granted special leave to take their case to the High Court due to a missing staple from their file. This effectively quashes the pair's unsuccessful appeal in 1992.

A group of 30 Spaniards selected by psychologists for their unusually high levels of stress and anxiety were allowed to run wild throughout a Spanish hotel, smashing whatever they wanted to with sledgehammers and pickaxes. Among the lucky winners who were selected from a pool of 200 applicants were a corporate executive, a soon-to-be-married couple and a single mother.

Nearly a dozen 7-Eleven convenience stores will wear a new face replicating the famed Kwik-E-Marts from "The Simpsons" cartoon. Kwik-E-Mart, which was designed in the show to poke fun at 7-Eleven Inc's more than 6,000 North American stores, features unhealthy snacks like Buzz Cola, KrustyO's cereal and Squishees -- a spin off of 7-Eleven's Slurpees.

Police in Bountiful, Utah have reportedly found nearly 120 items stolen from a cemetery in the backyard of a pregnant, single mother. Bountiful police have been receiving reports of stolen items at their city's cemetery and set up a sting operation to find the thief. The police now estimate that the woman, whose identity has not yet been revealed, has been stealing from the cemetery for over a year. Police found flowers, plant baskets, wind chimes, stuffed animals and coins; all of which are believed to have come from the cemetery.
