Bullet-proof bras designed to be comfortable and injury-proof have been issued to 3,000 policewomen in Germany for their protection. The bras are made of cotton or polyester and are padded. Unlike bullet-proof vests, they have no metal or plastic under-wire or fasteners that can pierce skin and injure the wearer when a bullet hit the body armor.

The first double arm transplant has been performed in a 16-hour surgery by a team of 30 surgeons in a Munich hospital. A 54-year old man who lost both arms in a farming accident six years ago was given the arms of a 19-year-old who is thought to have died in a car crash.

A new study shows that women may benefit from Viagra as it was proven effective at combating sexual dysfunction in depressed women. A study by the Journal of the American Medical Association revealed that 98 pre-menopausal women found the erectile dysfunction drug helpful in reaching orgasm.

A 60-year-old man is pleading for help from doctors because he says he thinks he's turning into a woman. Terry Wright, father of five, claims he started losing his hair and beard 10 years ago, and over time his skin has softened, his breasts have grown and he continues to experience hot flashes.

A teenager from South Africa has developed an unusual yet strong bond with a 10-foot long Burmese long python, a bond that has been sustained for two years. The teenager, 11th-grader Simone Naidoo, got the python named Theo after falling in love with snakes at 10 years old. She saw the slithery creatures displayed at a window during a grade school fair.
