A woman from St. Petersburg in Florida mysteriously survived without any injury, when the bra she was wearing stopped a stray bullet fired into the air, from entering her body. Debbie Bingham was on a visit to her family on New Year's Eve when a . 45 caliber bullet fired into the air by an unknown person, hit her left shoulder when it fell back down to Earth.

A soldier returned home from Iraq without injury but as he was walking to his grandmother's home he was struck by a car. Then a second car hit him and dragged him a half-mile. Andrew Rippe, 25, is still in serious condition. Police said it is amazing he is still alive.

More than lifting and support, a woman was saved by her bra from a falling bullet during New Year's celebrations. The bra strap on her left shoulder had slowed down the bullet and prevented serious injury. In town to visit family, Debbie Bingham, 46, had gone outside with her daughter and son to celebrate New Year and watch the local fireworks display. At 11:40 p. m. she reported feeling a sharp pain in her left shoulder.

Need a hug? Well scientists have developed a Hug Shirt that can cuddle and hug. The shirt employs new technology that lets the wearer remotely hug another user via use of Bluetooth. Nominated as one of the best Inventions of 2006 by Time Magazine! the device is activated when a friend sends you a virtual hug. The wearers cell phone notifies the shirt wirelessly, via Bluetooth technology and then re-creates that person's distinctive hug, replicating his or her warmth, pressure, duration and even heartbeat.

The police in Lancashire, England plan to introduce pink lighting in several towns in the county in an effort to stop juveniles from committing crimes. The plan was introduced after it was found that aside from creating a calming atmosphere, pink lights also show up spots on the skin.
