Arizona received some bad news when the smart state ranking was released on Tuesday. The state ranked 50 for the second year in a row. Arizona was preceded by Nevada, Mississippi, California and Alaska. At the top was Vermont in the number one spot, followed by Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and Maine.

Hardcore offroad car users now have a reason to rejoice. A Smart Car with monster tires and four-wheel drive has been developed for them: The 'Forfun' with the body of a normal Smart Fortwo mounted on an all-terrain Mercedes-Benz Unimog 406 series. Mercedes-Benz Greece, together with Greek 4x4 Rally Champion, Stefan Attart, joined forces with in designing and developing the one-off vehicle.

The wife of British Prime Minister Tony Blair was questioned by child protection officials when she only pretended to slap one of the boys. The incident happened when Cherie Blair was being photographed with teenager Miles Gandolfi at the U. K. Schools Games sports event in Glasgow, Scotland, when the 17-year-old boy in question jokingly raised his hand behind her head to make a "bunny ears" gesture.

Some students in universities have a full time job, and a family life besides dealing with the demands of college. So, Northeastern University has decided to offer personal coaches to their students. Heather Parsons a student at the university who was been helped by personal coach, Chris Tilghman tells the AP, "It was so easy, taking a step back from the emotions surrounding the issue. . . Hearing a third person made all the difference. "
