An Australian wildlife worker was called to pull a 7-foot python out of a septic tank, after a plumber found it hiding in a woman's toilet. Peter Phillips, a wildlife officer for the Northern Territory Parks and Wildlife Service, said in a statement released by the Northern Territory government, "The . . . resident originally called a plumber because her toilet was blocked. I arrived to see a large python head peering out of the toilet bowl. "

An Australian driver armed himself with an unusual weapon after he was pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving. The driver grabbed a live snake off the road when officers stopped him for an alcohol breath test. Police in Darwin, home for poisonous snakes and voracious crocodiles, say the incident happened Saturday night, after the officers saw the motorist swerving.

An eight-foot python gave a truck driver the scare of his life when he stopped for a toilet break and saw the huge snake watching him while he relieved himself. The startled writer told the York Press, that he was urinating on a tree along the A59 highway near Knaresborough in Yorkshire, England when he saw the python watching him. The snake slithered toward his feet before climbing up the tree.

A pet shop owner who is a native of Serbia is facing imprisonment when the 6ft snake he left inside his car as an alarm, escaped and caused panic to the public. Radovan Rarkic, who owns a pet shop in Belgrade, Northern Ireland said he left the snake in his E-Class Mercedes because he could not afford to buy an alarm system. He said he always leave the snake inside the car every night to make sure that no one would steal his precious possession.

A pet shop owner in Serbia who claimed he couldn't afford a car alarm, was arrested after a six-foot snake he placed inside his car escaped. Authorities said Radovan Darkic, left the snake in his E-Class Mercedes every evening to make sure no one would steal the car.
