"Spaceship Earth," a million dollar sculpture honoring environmentalist David Brower on the campus of a Georgia public college, has reportedly collapsed and broke into pieces. It was made for the purpose of reminding the future generations of the Earth's fragility and ironically collapsed just three months after its unveiling.

The 175-ton massive spaceship with phrase "our fragile craft" was still visible amid the debris at Kennesaw State University.

Mary-Elizabeth Watson, a Kennesaw State University employee, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "Kind of ironic. I had no idea it was made up of so many pieces."

The blue globe sculpture was constructed by the Finnish sculptor who uses only the name Eino. The investigators are blaming water leaks or weak glue to be the possible cause.

Eino plans to rebuild the sculpture "stronger than ever."
