A German woman tried to get rid of her spider problem by setting her garbage on fire with a can of hair spray and a cigarette lighter, but ended up setting her house on fire instead. According to police in the western town of Zuelpich, they said that when the aerosol failed to finish them off, the 34-year-old woman tried to burn them with the lighter but set the area she had just sprayed on fire.
