Descendants of Confucius in modern China have decided to include women in their family tree for the first time though their famous ancestor looked down upon females. In the past, women descendants were always excluded from the Confucius Genealogy. The spouses of male descendants, marked in small characters behind the names of their husbands, were almost hidden. In the new 5th family tree, which was kicked off in 1996, women descendants will be written in the same size characters as men. Spouses of female descendants will be marked in small letters behind the names of their wives.

Men in northern South Africa turn to nature when seeking to achieve the effects of the male impotency drug Viagra. The root of the wild Mpesu tree (Securidaca Longepeduculata) found in the villages of the Venda district near the Kruger National Park along the border with Zimbabwe is said to be the source. The compound extracted from its root and consumed with tea and other traditional drinks has been shown to relax the muscles of the male sex organs, sending a rush of blood that results in enhanced erections.

For motorists, a gas pump is a place they fill gas in their vehicles. But for Mr. P, a lonely peacock it is the love of his life. A service station in South England is an object of the birds romance and desire. The bird has fallen deeply in love with a row of gas pumps, which make a familiar clicking noise, similar to that of a broody peahen.
