Eighties pop star and former topless model Samantha Fox won't be getting the royal treatment in Serbia. The former pin-up blonde was to have a statue put in place in the city of Cacak in Russia in her honor, but the plans have been scrapped after she failed to sell-out a concert in the city, prompting her backers to pull out.

Apparently, the half-full crowd was more eager in Fox exposing her breasts than actually hearing her sing. What's more, the British singer snubbed fans and then failed to turn up for a ministerial dinner staged in her honor after a concert.

According to Ananova, Fox said: "The crowd made rude comments about my breasts."

Local fans made it clear that they were planning the statue in their city because they thought "she was an idol who deserved a proper monument to her talents," reports Ananova.
