The U. S. Army's 1st Infantry Division, often called the "Big Red One," will leave its host country of Germany at Victory Park on Leighton Barracks. The Big Red One will return to the United States and officially make camp at Fort Riley, Kansas, on August 1. The move to Kansas means the division will help train foreign security forces in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

Gayadhar Parida, an 84-year-old villager of Kuligaon village in eastern Indian state of Orissa has been living in a tree for the last 50 years after disturbance with his wife, reports IANS. Wife of Gayadhar told, "We quarreled over a tiny issue and that is why he left me and promised not to live with me and return home till his death. "

A five-member team from the Rhode Island Paranormal Research group visited Mystic Seaport on Friday night to spend time on the Charles W. Morgan, a wooden whaling ship where several visitors have reported seeing ghosts. The 165-year-old craft made 37 ocean voyages in search of whales during the 60 years it was in use. About 1,000 men worked on the Morgan over those decades.
