A stowaway cat will be sent home in style after ending up in France a month ago.

Continental Airlines says Wednesday that the cat, named Emily, will fly business class to Newark, New Jersey.

Emily escaped from her house in Appleton, Wisconsin, in late September, and ended up on a sea container that landed in Belgium.

Workers at a laminating company in Nancy, France, found the cat nearly a month after it disappeared. Luckily, she was still wearing her identification tags.

Continental says it called Emily's owners and offered assistance. The cat will fly home on Thursday with an escort, says airline spokeswoman Courtney Wilcox.
