Residents of Pelham know to keep a look out for a cat who notoriously steals gardening gloves. The cat named Willy has collected about two dozen gloves since the beginning of springtime. Willy's owners, Jennifer and Dan Pifer said the cat usually collects gloves on the weekends brings them home as if they were trophies. The couple now keeps a clothes line in their yard to string up the gloves so people can come by to reclaim them. They also hung up a sign reading, "Our cat is a glove snatcher. Please take these if yours. "

Miami police have arrested five people they believe are tied to a string of burglaries in the Kendall area, by following up on some criminal bragging rights. In one instance the suspects, Matthew Vasquez and Martha Bernard, both 22, and Chris Barrientos, 21, were identified after they burglarized an occupied home.

Canadian authorities arrest three teens on suspicion of committing bank robberies in the Vancouver area. Reuters reports the teens, aged 13 to 14, were arrested on Saturday for their role in two robberies in the suburb of Surrey.

A top executive at Morgan Stanley tried to use his company's connections to become a New York Yankees honorary batboy. Guy Chiarello wanted to celebrate his 20th anniversary with Morgan Stanley at Yankee Stadium. To achieve his goals, he sent a number of e-mails to Robert Nederlander Jr. , whose father is a part-owner of the Yankees. Chiarello, the investment bank's chief technology officer, suggested that many of his 1,500 employees would buy tickets or contribute to a charitable donation on behalf of the team. He also said he would not mind being part of the grounds crew working to the strains of YMCA.

Orlando police are investigating a string of bizarre threats involving food. Authorities say someone stole frozen chickens, ducks and even a pig from two restaurants. Police think the culprits may be stealing the food for someone else's restaurant business or store. Two Chinese restaurants have been raided in near copycat fashion, with the freezers stripped.
