A 70-year-old woman of Chakk Sadia village of northern Indian state of Punjab was allegedly stripped and paraded around the village. The woman ordered to strip and parade by Panchayat, the local governing authority of village, because her son had seen a girl belonging to an influential family in a compromising position with her lover, The Pioneer reported.

A Floyd County ordinance in Kentucky could strip an Appalachian family of its pet lion by Friday. The Collins family owns a more than 400 pound lion which the family considers "kitty. " To some neighbors of this family, the animal is a source of menace.

An Irish bookmaker is attempting to stage the largest strip poker contest, and earn a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Reuters reports the idea was originally an April Fool's joke, but so many people became interested that Paddy Power decided to look into organizing the event.

A Californian city owes big bucks to a strip club after trying to change local zoning laws in an effort to shut it down for good. The city of San Bernardino owes the all-nude lounge, the Flesh Club, $1. 4 million after a court ruled that the zoning ordinance the city used to prohibit nude dancing at the club from 1995 to 1999 was unconstitutional.

As a result of complaints from commuters, Manila authorities have been telling bus and taxi drivers that they need to wash and deodorize every day. Bayani Fernando, chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, says, "We understand that drivers must earn money to support themselves and their respective families. It is only right that in return, these drivers must observe proper hygiene. "
