After someone stole 250 pounds of fireworks, a North Carolina town lost its bang from Independence Day. Garland Norton, mayor of Old Fort, said, "It's kind of disheartening that someone would do that, and they did it at the last minute, so we couldn't get any to replace them. So we had to cancel it. "

Prisoners at Tihar Jial are earning their wages as authorities have focused their energies on creative activities. The inmates are making recycled paper items like bags and file covers and preparing biscuits, cakes, bread, pickles and potato chips on jail premises. The Tihar Jail Bakery School, popularly known as TJ's is selling the stuff at reasonable price in the market.

Washington, DC (AHN)-A stalker hid under a woman's bed for two days-just for the chance to be alone with her. The convicted stalker, Carlo Castellanos-Feria, reportedly hid a video camera on a desk in the victim's bedroom, and disappeared under the bed when he heard the woman and her boyfriend come into the apartment. He remained there for two days until he was discovered by the victim's boyfriend.

A family was temporarily displaced after a deer ran into their home and startled the family. Officials are describing the incident as a bizarre occurrence. According to police, a deer who was apparently spooked by some dogs that were let out of the kennel, went into the apartment because it was trying to get away from some kids outside.
